This site permits users to file complaints and reports of fraud or abuses. From these reports we maintain a data bank from which a web user can query about businesses or individuals with whom they wish to transact business. This site also provides educational material about deceptive practices experienced on the internet. Our mission in establishing this site is to prevent and reduce fraudulent or deceitful practices on the internet so that the internet can be a safer place to surf and shop.
We will add new information from time to time to educate the public and our users. We encourage users of our site to complete and submit the complaint forms from which we will add to our data bank those companies and individuals complained about and from which we can post material, in general terms, of the different types of frauds, scams or abuses being perpetrated on the internet.
