Passwords protect our personal online accounts from unauthorized entry. Following the hints below can reduce the risk of your password being broken:
Change your password frequently such as every month. As such, if your password is discovered, you can limit your damage by frequently changing it.
Never let anyone know your password. The more people know your password, the greater the chance that your password will be disclosed to a person you don't want to know.
Try to choose a password that you can remember so you don't have to write it down. By writing it down, someone could discover it.
Don't let anyone observe you using your password.
Don't respond to any website or internet service provider administrator's request for your password.
Don't respond to any email request for your password.
Use a different password for every account you maintain online. If one password is decoded, having different passwords will prevent other accounts of yours being broken into.
Don't use any names of family, friends, pets. Don't use your telephone number, zip or postal codes, your initials, any part of your name, address or any other number or name that a person could use to identify you with.
